Lost Continent

Here someone has conveniently put together the stop-motion dinosaur sequences from the 1951 “lost world” film, Lost Continent, directed by Samuel Neufield. Edward Nassour was the stop-motion animation supervisor.

    You gotta love these movies; “pit-brontos” and all;0)! I totally LIVED for these types of films to show up on our local channels as a kid (back in the 60’s)
    Thanks for sharing this, Rob. I hope we will always have some sort of access (DVD at best/internet downloads at least) to these old films long into the future.

    Me too, Todd. But they rarely did. I think — thanks to DVD — everything that still exists will be available well into the future. In fact, stuff that has for decades been declared to be “lost” is now turning up!
