The trouble with “Ganso Den Ace” is that none of these sites have any information on it, apart from the fact that the disk contains episodes 1 – 5. No director, date, nothing. And I haven’t been able to find any info outside those DVD sales places.

According to a member of the ‘KAIJUPHILE FORUMS’ named ‘Enshohma’ this ‘DEN ACE’ had appeared in another film before “DEN ACE THE FINAL”.Here’s his first film: http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.html?KEY=RFD-1060 Also the character made a cameo appearance in “EVERYTHING SINKS BUT JAPAN” by the same director.With him in this new promo video for Guilala’s new film,I wouldn’t be surprised if he appeared in the actual film as well. Most of all this part really interests me: “However, when everyone starts to give up, a journalist finds a strange group worshipping the traditional idol at the lakeside.” Is there yet another monster in the new film????

Nihon Igai Zenbu Chinbotsu is a bit of a broad-stroke satire of the West. Funny in places, but it does say something about refugees anywhere and how they’re treated and perceived. But they do well on a limited budget and while the acting is pretty variable, it’s definitely not a waste of a couple of hours.

I don’t think that I’ve ever been so excited about seeing a new movie as this one!!!! This is one of my very favorite kaijus of all time!! I have to say though,that I’m still not too sure about it being a parody??I would rather see it filmed more straight forward.Although,this director is a lot of fun and very creative.He has one hell of an imagination too.He could be exactly the one needed to revive this genre in Japan.
