Yes, Kennedy, I confess your comment slipped past me back in June. But we welcome the news. Let us know when the film is readily and I'll give it a plug. Feel free to email. You can find contact info here:

Ah Google... the greatest tool for navel gazing ever invented...

I am just in the middle of one of the most tedious tasks in post-production and had to take a break... "I wonder if I can find anything new about the film?"
The answer was 'yes and no' - it took months after it was published before I found this, but to me it is new.

A quick update from the horses's mouth: We are less than a month from finishing post-production. The picture is locked, FX are almost done and next week we do ADR (fixes of the recorded dialogue where there were problems with the original tracks).
It has been a LONG haul - such is the nature of small-budgets. There is an imaginary model for a very imprecise equation in film: Take a triangle. At one point you have high-quality, one you have fast-speed, and one you have low-cost. You can only ever have two of the three. We want the highest quality we can muster, and we have very little money as far as film-making is concerned... therefore it takes forever!
We have begun submitting working copies to festivals - just this past week, and next month our grassroots publicity campaign begins at a conference in Las Vegas.
It ain't Citizen Kane, but I am quite proud of this quirky little beast we have created.

"We have done the impossible and that makes us mighty."

"Tamworth with a lake". I like that! Obviously Ogopogo isn't too discerning, as monsters go.

Oh, I've been to Lake Okanagan...I can't say that it struck me as an overly likely location for a Lake Monster from the Deep. It was like Tamworth with a lake. Still, it was a one day visit, so perhaps I was missing the more ominous parts.

Your enthusiasm for lake monster-type movies is legendary, Avery. Hopefully this one does have the actual monster in it.
