(See <a href=\"http:\/\/roberthood.net\/blog\/index.php\/2012\/08\/12\/the-art-of-monsters-takashi-murakami-and-jellyfish-eyes\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Art of Monsters: Takashi Murakami and Jellyfish Eyes<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>As exciting as that is, the website for the SECOND film in what promises to be a trilogy has now appeared. (Check it out <a href=\"http:\/\/en.jellyfisheyes.com\/me2\/\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.) Where the first film portrays the catastrophe that has gripped the nation, &#8220;Part 2 takes place two years later and expands upon the scenario with new twists and turns&#8221;. (<a href=\"http:\/\/en.jellyfisheyes.com\/me2\/category\/contents\/\" target=\"_blank\">Source<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>The site offers a production diary and includes lots of on-site pictures, such as this one of Murakami and&#8230; um, friend&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/roberthood.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/0829_ph10.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-12741\" title=\"0829_ph10\" src=\"http:\/\/roberthood.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/0829_ph10.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"298\" srcset=\"https:\/\/roberthood.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/0829_ph10.jpg 450w, https:\/\/roberthood.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/0829_ph10-300x198.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A third film hasn&#8217;t been officially announced yet but we can safely speculate that it is surely forthcoming.<\/p>\n<p>A source from the production, who wishes to stay anonymous for now, commented to Kaiju Search-Robot Avery:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>There will be heavy CG involved, but Takashi has handsketched\/designed a number of new creatures that are featured in the films.
