The latest is a noirish thriller called <strong>Bermuda City<\/strong>, produced, written and directed by Julian Jay Burton, who also features in it in an acting role.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/roberthood.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/bermuda-city-titles.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-13559\" alt=\"bermuda-city-titles\" src=\"http:\/\/roberthood.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/bermuda-city-titles.png\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1080\" srcset=\"https:\/\/roberthood.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/bermuda-city-titles.png 1920w, https:\/\/roberthood.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/bermuda-city-titles-300x168.png 300w, https:\/\/roberthood.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/bermuda-city-titles-1024x576.png 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Teaser:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">[youtube k278gembz-E&amp;]<\/p>\n<p>Interestingly, the web series is being produced as promotional &#8220;world-building&#8221; for an upcoming graphic novel series. &#8220;The scheme is to build an anticipation for the Red Crow Comics universe &#8212; leverage in a sense,&#8221; Burton told the Backbrain.\u00a0 &#8220;Mainstream film studios are using a similar scheme by targeting powerhouses like D.C. and Marvel, as their heroes have much pre-existing clout as mythical characters to the masses.\u00a0 These figures have been around for over half an century, so leverage is grand.\u00a0 This is why we&#8217;re attacking this method now.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Synopsis<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Detective Jordan Long is a fugitive, framed for killing fellow cops. in mind but had to change it being that the title is owned by another comic strip created by associate, Patrick Purcell.\u00a0 In all, I love the title.\u00a0 There are a lot of unknown elements that takes place in the city so I thought the title was appropriate.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/roberthood.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Bermuda-City-Pro-Still-4.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-13554\" alt=\"Bermuda City Pro Still 4\" src=\"http:\/\/roberthood.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Bermuda-City-Pro-Still-4.png\" width=\"458\" height=\"344\" srcset=\"https:\/\/roberthood.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Bermuda-City-Pro-Still-4.png 458w, https:\/\/roberthood.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Bermuda-City-Pro-Still-4-300x225.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 458px) 100vw, 458px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>What inspired the series?<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Honestly,\u00a0there&#8217;s not a grand explanation for the inspiration other than trying to develop original cities for my comic\u00a0universe.\u00a0 As a filmmaker, I&#8217;m aware that\u00a0the exterior of cities usually play third characters in story and broadens the vision.\u00a0 This brings another element to the overall concept.<\/p>\n<p>I wanted to bring the Red Crow Comics characters to the screen early, versus later.\u00a0\u00a0People would be able to explore different dimensions of the characters in a live action series.\u00a0 This\u00a0perception also carries over to the comics.\u00a0 The comic media is more suitable for the imagination and for the most part doesn&#8217;t demand various dimensions of characterization;
