So Nick Stathopoulos and Ryan Cauchi’s fantastic short nasty-plant-from-outer-space film, It Grows!<\/strong> (see these Undead Backbrain articles<\/a>) has shambled off with a slew of awards at Zed Fest.<\/p>\n

Director Ryan Cauchi reports:<\/p>\n

I’m speechless right now. It Grows!<\/em> has just won 5 awards at Zed Fest<\/a>! “Outstanding Foreign Short Direction” for Nick Stathopoulos<\/a> and myself; “Outstanding Horror B Comedy Short”; “Outstanding Original Score” for Andrew Thomas Wilson; a special nod to Nick for “Creature Effects, Miniatures and Matte Paintings”; and last but not least, “Best Poster”… and apparently there are more awards to come!!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
