{"id":15,"date":"2007-07-29T17:43:39","date_gmt":"2007-07-29T07:43:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/roberthood.net\/blog\/index.php\/2007\/07\/29\/godzilla-in-poland\/"},"modified":"2007-08-03T11:30:19","modified_gmt":"2007-08-03T01:30:19","slug":"godzilla-in-poland","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/roberthood.net\/blog\/index.php\/2007\/07\/29\/godzilla-in-poland\/","title":{"rendered":"Godzilla in Poland"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Thanks to <a href=\"http:\/\/catsparx.livejournal.com\/\">Cat Sparks<\/a> and her irrepressible instinct for finding the best in superbly idiosyncratic design work, I came across this strangely surreal poster for <i>Godzilla vs the Smog Monster<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p><center><a href='http:\/\/roberthood.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/07\/godzilla_vs_the_smog_monster_1972.jpg' title='Polish poster for Godzilla vs the Smog Monster'><img src='http:\/\/roberthood.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/07\/godzilla_vs_the_smog_monster_1972.jpg' alt='Polish poster for Godzilla vs the Smog Monster' \/><\/a><\/center><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s not like your average Godzilla poster, that&#8217;s for sure. I love the visual overlapping of the Big G and Hedorah.<\/p>\n<p>The poster comes from a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.agrayspace.com\/posters\/\">website<\/a> that has collected over 200 mostly Polish movie posters from 1940 onward.
