The excellent new Gothic anthology Exotic Gothic 2<\/strong>, in which my story “Kulpunya” appears, has just been announced<\/a> as a finalist in the Shirley Jackson Awards anthology category.\u00a0 These Awards salute original works for their “outstanding achievement in the literature of psychological suspense, horror and the dark fantastic”.<\/p>\n

Exotic Gothic 2<\/em> — unsurprisingly a follow-up to the successful Exotic Gothic<\/em> — was edited by Danel Olsen and published by Ash-Tree Press in 2008. As well as my story, two other scary tales by Australians appear in it — by Terry Dowling and Stephen Dedman.<\/p>\n
