Ruben Fleischer) &#8212; and who am I to buck the trend? The film is a zombie comedy &#8212; or an end-of-the-world thriller with comedic elements &#8212; which is inevitably being identified with <em>Shaun of the Dead<\/em>, though the broad American Ol&#8217; Boy humour of the trailer (<a href=\"http:\/\/scifiwire.com\/2009\/06\/new-trailer-for-woody-har.php\" target=\"_blank\">Scifi Wire<\/a> describes it as an &#8220;Apatowish slacker sensibility&#8221;) positions it some distance from <em>Shaun<\/em>&#8216;s low-key, ironic Britishness. Anyway, <em>Zombieland<\/em> looks both slickly mainstream and funny (assuming you like its particular style of humour) and represents an interesting &#8220;popcorn&#8221; trend in zombie films.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><object width=\"460\" height=\"320\" data=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/M-cIjPOJdFM&amp;hl=en&amp;fs=1&amp;rel=0\" type=\"application\/x-shockwave-flash\"><param name=\"allowFullScreen\" value=\"true\" \/><param name=\"allowscriptaccess\" value=\"always\" \/><param name=\"src\" value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/M-cIjPOJdFM&amp;hl=en&amp;fs=1&amp;rel=0\" \/><param name=\"allowfullscreen\" value=\"true\" \/><\/object><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So, everyone in creation (or the blog version of it) is posting the new trailer for Zombieland (US-2009; dir.
