Giant Monsters Tales<\/em><\/a> (edited by myself and Robin Pen, Agog! Press, 2005; reprinted Prime Books, 2007) &#8212; has just released a sampler of design and animation work for the in-development Guidolon project:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><object classid=\"clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000\" width=\"480\" height=\"340\" codebase=\"http:\/\/download.macromedia.com\/pub\/shockwave\/cabs\/flash\/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0\"><param name=\"allowFullScreen\" value=\"true\" \/><param name=\"allowscriptaccess\" value=\"always\" \/><param name=\"src\" value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/_6BKKXimnJo&amp;hl=en_US&amp;fs=1&amp;\" \/><param name=\"allowfullscreen\" value=\"true\" \/><embed type=\"application\/x-shockwave-flash\" width=\"480\" height=\"340\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/_6BKKXimnJo&amp;hl=en_US&amp;fs=1&amp;\" allowscriptaccess=\"always\" allowfullscreen=\"true\"><\/embed><\/object><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">He says of it on his blog <a href=\"http:\/\/frankwu.livejournal.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Cheerfully Demented<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The sampler summarizes work done\u00a0over the last couple years by yours truly,\u00a0tech guru\/technomage extraordinaire Brianna Spacekat Wu, without whom this\u00a0project would have been impossible, Todd Tennant, who designed Guidolon, Number One, Jerora and Takashi\u00a0Tamaal (the world&#8217;s greatest Shakespearean actor in a chicken suit), Jonah Gray, who did tons of character builds and animation, Sergio\u00a0Sykes, who rigged the Takashi model, Terry\u00a0Rosen, who, in a flurry of activity just before the con, did massive work on projects he&#8217;d been working on before:\u00a0the weird centipede-like\u00a0&#8220;Eagle&#8221; ship, and the XK-Omega-10\u00a0Jet Bug, and David Fleminger, who did the music, as surf guitar versions of\u00a0&#8220;The Chicken\u00a0Dance&#8221;\u00a0(used with permission).<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The animated film is about<span> a giant space chicken who is making a film about a giant space chicken.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span>An archive of earlier images &#8212; a sort of pseudo-history of the project &#8212; is available on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.roberthood.net\/daikaiju-antho\/guidolon\/index2.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Daikaiju! part of my website<\/a>.
