I love this one (click to enlarge):<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/roberthood.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/bygone-behemoth-poster.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-6745 aligncenter\" title=\"bygone-behemoth-poster\" src=\"http:\/\/roberthood.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/bygone-behemoth-poster.jpg\" alt=\"bygone-behemoth-poster\" width=\"396\" height=\"612\" srcset=\"https:\/\/roberthood.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/bygone-behemoth-poster.jpg 700w, https:\/\/roberthood.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/bygone-behemoth-poster-194x300.jpg 194w, https:\/\/roberthood.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/bygone-behemoth-poster-662x1024.jpg 662w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 396px) 100vw, 396px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Based on the response we&#8217;ve received to our <a href=\"http:\/\/roberthood.net\/blog\/index.php\/2010\/02\/13\/the-monstrous-poignancy-of-being-a-stop-motion-monster\/\" target=\"_blank\">article on <em>Bygone Behemoth<\/em><\/a> &#8212; where you can read a bit about it and check out the trailer &#8212; the film is generating a lot of interest and should go down well with the SXSW audience. I wish I could be there &#8212; though Austin, Texas, is rather a long way from Wollongong, Australia. If I had the money, it would be worth the trip, though; as it happens, <em>Bygone Behemoth<\/em> will share the festival program with another much-anticpated film <a href=\"http:\/\/roberthood.net\/blog\/index.php\/2010\/03\/10\/monster-monster\/\" target=\"_blank\">featured here on the Backbrain<\/a>: <strong>Monsters<\/strong> (UK-2010; dir. Gareth Edwards).<\/p>\n<p>I love they way Stephen Chiodo &#8212; who wrote and directed <em>Killer Klowns From Outer Space<\/em> and was responsible for the SFX and creature design of films such as the <em>Critters<\/em> movies, <em>Elf<\/em> and <em>King Cobra<\/em> &#8212; described <em>Bygone Behemoth<\/em>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;A well crafted and poignant tribute to the Golden Age of Monster Movies  that inspired everything we see today.
