On the heels of the SyFy Channel’s release<\/a> of a trailer for Mega Piranha<\/strong> <\/em>(US-2010; dir. Eric Forsberg) comes The Asylum’s official trailer.<\/p>\n

You’ve got to hand it to whoever does them. They do a decent job of it. And it’s good to see how mega the mega piranhas get — as in this scene that clearly draws on the success of a similar scene from The Asylum’s previous giant monster hit, Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus<\/em>.<\/p>\n

As a low-budget giant monster film, it looks nearly as much fun as its Asylum predecessor!<\/p>\n
