Ace Hannah)?<\/p>\n<p>Who can forget it, right? It was a splendid example of a playful, tongue-in-cheek recreation of those extravagant, delightfully absurd giant monster films we enjoy so much &#8212; they may not be Art but are crafted to entertain the folk who get the joke. And there are lots of us. Many have been screaming for a sequel. One fan is quoted as saying: &#8220;If the Asylum doesn&#8217;t do a sequel to <em>Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus<\/em>, and soon, I&#8217;m gonna unleash my giant robot to stomp the lot of &#8217;em into their own celluloid compost bin!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Well, even though the Asylum on their website are acting dumb on the subject, take a look at this poster, spied by CNN in the Asylum&#8217;s booth at the recent Cannes Film Festival, and picked up by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.horror-movies.ca\/horror_18398.html\" target=\"_blank\">Horror-Movies.ca<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/roberthood.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/MSvG.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-7813 aligncenter\" title=\"MSvG\" src=\"http:\/\/roberthood.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/MSvG.jpg\" alt=\"MSvG\" width=\"478\" height=\"237\" srcset=\"https:\/\/roberthood.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/MSvG.jpg 637w, https:\/\/roberthood.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/MSvG-300x148.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 478px) 100vw, 478px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Yes, it&#8217;s the sequel we&#8217;ve all wanted, <em>Mega Shark versus Giganotosaurus<\/em> &#8212; the latter being some sort of over-sized T-Rex from the look of the poster art.
