Kazuki Omori) as it was considered that the stop-motion SFX did not gell with the rest of the film&#8217;s suitmation.<\/p>\n<p><center><object height=\"344\" width=\"425\"><param name=\"movie\" value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/yKLXIfTnNkA&amp;hl=en\"><\/param><embed src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/yKLXIfTnNkA&amp;hl=en\" type=\"application\/x-shockwave-flash\" height=\"344\" width=\"425\"><\/embed><\/object><\/center><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s interesting to see what Godzilla might have looked like if Ray Harryhausen had been involved.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong>: some stop-motion SFX <em>were<\/em> used in the original <em>Gojira<\/em> (1954).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Addition<\/strong>: here is another deleted (or unused) scene from the same film &#8212; an anime sequence in which Biollante absorbs Godzilla&#8217;s &#8220;evil&#8221; and makes him more amenable, in a Showa-era way:<\/p>\n<p><center><object height=\"344\" width=\"425\"><param name=\"movie\" value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/L4KxskJDCyQ&amp;hl=en\"><\/param><embed src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/L4KxskJDCyQ&amp;hl=en\" type=\"application\/x-shockwave-flash\" height=\"344\" width=\"425\"><\/embed><\/object><\/center><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The following brief scene was deleted from Gojira tai Biollante [aka Godzilla vs. Biollante] (1989; dir.
