New: 100 Million BC

Blockbuster knock-off studio Asylum Pictures’ latest giant monster opus is 100 Million BC, which might appear to knock-off 10,000 BC, the upcoming Emmerich unofficial remake of the old Hammer film One Million Years BC (which was a remake of the 1940 One Million BC, with a primeval Victor Mature) — but actually appears to be some sort of combination of A Sound of Thunder (time travel to prehistoric times and nasty consequences for the present) and the 1998 Godzilla (monster rampant in Big City), with a touch of Jurassic Park: The Lost World (tyrannosaur rampant in Big City) and every film that features an elite military unit bringing “something” back from wherever and then having to deal with it:

I must say that from the trailer (available here) the SFX don’t look half bad, whatever state the script might be in.

    Well, it could be interesting.

And the monster looks nicely over-sized for a “real” T-Rex. So it may be just a dinosaur but it has a more fantastical dimension as well, it seems (or rather, I hope).

This has to be the worst film I’ve ever seen. Some sort of leak on the net so I thought I’d download it and I have to say it is terrible. The trailer is better than the movie.

Don’t waste your time haha, they must have had about 10 dollars for a budget and blew it on a helicopter.

  5. Backbrain says:

That’s sad, Louth. Oh well, it looked like it had potential, but one never knows. Mind you, I’ll probably waste my time on it anyway. It’s what I do….

    🙂

Biggest waste of 1hr 25mins of my life… so tacky it’s ridiculous.

  7. t rex says:

    is this a joke.
    it can’t be serious.

how much did they spend on this dross a fiver?! the may as well of had barney the dinosaur on there.

whoever funded this nonsense needs to do the world a favour and end their lives.

This film i actually thought was a joke when i watched maybe the first 20 mins. I laughed away at this spoof of a film until i realized it was actually the real full film, at that point i laughed even harder.

I turned it off after 30 mins so my opinion can only count for that much but i cannot find a single thing positive to say about this film. I might sound harsh but PLEASE just try and watching this film. you will be scratching your eyes out and wishing you listened to this post.

This is worse that starship trooper 2, seriously. Please just dont get your hopes up or pay money to see this film.

    that is all 😉

  9. Backbrain says:

Very harsh, Sam. I’m sure I’ll see it sooner or later…

I second everyone in saying this movie has got to be the worst film ever made. I actually thought it might be interesting because the beginning was decent. aside from the terrible acting and extremely cheesy effects, I thought the storyline had potential. I think with a much larger budget to work with and some actors we know would help. Also, (LOL) i noticed that they would throw in random f*cks in the script to try and add emphasis but only added to the shame of the movie.
P.S. The lieutenant is the worst actor I have ever come across and he should do us all a favor and quit or just end his life! (watch the movie and u’ll agree)

I would also like to add. When did Jurassic Park come out> mid 90’s is my guess. 10 years later and we are watching this…*sigh* how pathetic.
