Some time ago I posted an excellent French ad that used a Godzilla-like creature to address safety issues. Below is the ad once more, but here it is followed by a sequel featuring the same characters. I couldn’t resist.
And while we’re at it, here’s a very peculiar, kaiju-based car advertisement. It’s rather romantic!

These ads are a blast!! The fx are better than most kaiju films these days.The directors and sfx companies should take a go at directing an actual kaiju film.I bet they would do a great job at it.
Ironically, as far as I can remember offhand, the French have never had a shot at making a genuine daikaiju film. Can you think of any, Avery?
Hmmn??That’s a good one there??You kinda caught me off-guard.You know,not really off the top of my head.I can think of the French plot in the American “Godzilla” and I believe ‘Gorosaurus’ attacked France in “Destroy All Monsters”.Those aren’t actually filmed in France by French creators though.They should really take a go at it.If these ads are any indication,then they could produce some nice additions to the genre.
